I haven’t really done any knitting in the last week or so. I finished the Karla sweater, except for the collar. I am going to sew it together tonight and take it to Karla tomorrow so that she can tell me what kind of collar she would like. It’s a low v-neck, so I don’t know if she wants just a small edge or wants something that actually sticks out a bit.
I have been mostly working on my engagement/wedding scrapbook. Last night, I got a lot accomplished and have nearly every page that I’ve started completed. I am waiting on photos to finish a few pages and have to start two new pages that I’m not sure how I want to do them yet.
I haven’t spun in a few weeks, I really wanted to finish Karla’s sweater before I got too far into spinning. I also really wanted to finish the Little Brown Bag, but I got sick of seed stitch.
I’m also having to study for the CSTE exam – Certified Software Testing Engineer. It’s taking more time than I wanted it to. I hope the exam goes smoothly, I take it on December 6, the day before my 30th birthday. I guarantee you, I will be ready to celebrate that night. :)

I must… I must… I must take photos of my stuff. I must… I must… I must take photos of my stuff.
Bryan and I went to an orientation for Waldorf teachers’ training and were fascinating and very intrigued by the Waldorf style of teaching. Plus, they teach knitting to the students as early as first grade. I saw some really great little knitted dolls that the kids had done and immediately wanted to start teaching there. I hope to study to become a Waldorf teacher to teach at a Waldorf school, but I would love to be a handcrafts teacher so that I can teach knitting and crocheting all the time! What an amazing job, well, it wouldn’t really even feel like a job if I love it! :) I will keep you posted on our journey through becoming Waldorf teachers.

Have you seen it? The Librarian action figure?? See a photo here. I love it! I think they need a bald guy librarian action figure, just like my Library Boy!
Bryan and I saw the Magdalene Sisters. What an amazing but disturbing film. It was fascinating and I can’t imagine how these women that survived the laundries lead normal lives after they got out. Since seeing the film, I’ve been looking for more information. I’ve found several things online and Bryan is tracking down the documentary that the film is based on, Sex in a Cold Climate. It’s a film that you really have to see!
