knitting classes galore

I haven’t knitted for a while, but I’ve been doing a lot of knitting related work! :)

My knitting business is moving along nicely and starting in October I will be very busy. In June, I’m teaching a knitting class at the Morton Grove Senior Center and also having a stamping class there too. I’m scheduling knitting classes with three places for the fall! :) Libertyville/Vernon Hills High School Continuing Education, Buffalo Grove Park District and Stevenson High School PREP Program (Continuing Ed)!! I will be teaching knitting and papermaking at Libertyville/Vernon Hills and Stevenson High School’s PREP Program, at Buffalo Grove Park District, I’ll be teaching knitting for kids and also an adult class! :)

Right now, I’m doing private lessons and hopefully those will become more frequent. I’m really excited about my class tomorrow night. :) And on Thursday, I’m meeting with Michael’s in Glenview, Illinois. So I may have a class at Michael’s as early as May.

I started a calligraphy class a few weeks ago that is going well. Now if I could just make myself practice a bit more. It’s sort of a pain to drag the ink out because it’s so messy. I’m learning Copperplate Calligraphy so that I can address my wedding invitations. I know I could pay someone to do them but being the crafty girl that I am, I really don’t want to pay someone else. I’m making the paper for the invitations and I feel that I should address them too. :) Yes, another craft that I have making paper. I know I mentioned above that I’m teaching paper making, well, I’m making the paper for my wedding invitations, programs and possibly menus. I will probably have to use plain card stock for the place cards, if I have place cards. :)
