Some exciting things

In the last few weeks our lives have taken a new turn that’s very exciting. Just over two weeks ago, Bryan went for an interview in the Kansas City area. Two days later, he received a phone call with a job offer. He starts as a new Assistant Branch Manager on January 7.

He’ll be moving to a cute house that we are inheriting from my parents, it was my late aunt’s house. We’re excited for the garden potential in the back yard along with the opportunity to have breakfast on the back porch every day or in the family room that overlooks a huge back yard.

I won’t be moving quite yet as I’ll continue working on my degree and will move to the Kansas City area with Bryan after I complete my degree. Our house has quickly become box central and we’re surprised how much we’ve been able to pack in such a short amount of time. Packing was a priority this weekend. With all of the excitement of the new job and finishing up my second to last semester of school, I’ve been working on little sewing gifts instead of knitting. I did finish the lacy red scarf I was working on and it just needs a nice bath and to be blocked. That will come soon.
